According to the Google Nest Help page for camera lights, a slow blinking yellow light means "The power adapter plugged into your camera has incorrect wattage."

Hi Jack12,

Thanks for posting here in the community and I understand what you mean when you say that your Nest camera has a blinking yellow slowly. Bear in mind that some third-party power adapters might not be compatible with your camera. Your camera needs a 7.5 W USB-A power cable to stay powered and work properly. Hit this link for more information. If you have other questions and concerns, feel free to let me know.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Emerson

The power cable on the new Nest Cam Indoor should be a 7.5 W USB-A power cable, as you say, so why is this customer getting a slow blinking yellow light?

Hello Jack12,

I wanted to follow up and see if you are still in need of any help. This is the link on how to reset your Nest camera to the factory default. Take note that all the event history will be remove after the reset. Please let me know if you are still having any concerns or questions from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

@MplsCustomer that's also what I wanted to know. Let's see what'll happen after he reset it to the factory default.

Thanks,
Emerson
