Camera not Support by Nest App

I cannot believe that Google is now producing cameras that do not work with the beloved Next Cam App. It is superior for viewing to Google Home. I have 9 Cameras and some in 3 other locations. Now, one of the locations, I  cannot add another to the App. I have to go to what I view as an inferior viewing platform to Google Home. I am returning the new camera and now will be changing out all the cameras and multiple locations to another vendor. Way to Go Google. You promised seamless transfer when you took over the world (I mean Nest). Bye Bye for good.

I'm with you, I just found out this week about the App issue when I was deciding on a warranty replacement camera they haven't managed to process in over a week! What are your thoughts on what to go to?

Can someone from Google respond to these posts as to why the new cameras will not communicate with Next App. Who in the H&!! thought that was an OK idea. They should lose their job, or at least be moved to an area that does not relate to customer satisfaction. You had to see this coming! I am returning the battery indoor/outdoor camera. It was a good idea to finely make one but they do not work with the better to use Nest App.

Hey folks,

Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App or available on https://bit.ly/3HtBgJC web app. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration.

However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support. I am more than happy to assist you further with this inquiry if you wish. Please let me know.

Best Regards,

Brad.
