I have two cameras. I would like to receive notifications for motion at night when all other notifications are off. I have a Pixel 3a with Google home installed running. I receive notification icons but no sound notifications. In a nut shell I would like to know if my camera sees a bad guy before he gets through the door by getting an alert, but no other notifications while sleeping.

Thanks for posting here in the Community. To confirm, is the Airplane or Do Not Disturb mode turned off or on? Have you tried using a different mobile phone? Is this issue constant or intermittent?
Give these steps a try:
1. Try reinstalling your Google Home app.
2. Turn off and on your notifications settings.
3. Use a different mobile phone and check if you can receive the notifications.
4. You may consider creating an activity zone.

Hello Emerson, I was able to figure it out by going into android settings, finding google home in the apps, and altering notifications from there. It's been working for me ever since. Thanks for following up!
