Anytime somebody rings my next doorbell it shuts off and i can't see whose at the door. When nobody rings it I'm able to go in and look at the camera. My camera is hardwired and nothing has been changed from the setup since I got it. Could it be my nest camera is defected? Is anybody else having this issue.

There is a very long thread with customers reporting this same problem with Nest Hello doorbells. It seems that the cause may be that the internal battery (most of us are probably unaware of it) wears out after a couple of years. It hasn't happened to ours (yet). There are other posts as well.

Oh dang I only had mines for less then 18 month. I wonder if Google will replace it?

So far, it seems Google is refusing to admit this is a design flaw and it seems they are offering replacements only for cameras less than 1 year old. Some customers have had success replacing the internal battery using instructions on the ifixit web site, but that involves prying the doorbell apart and it doesn't work for all. Some customers who have Nest Hubs or Nest Minis turn off their doorbell chime and do without it. You can scroll through that thread to get a flavor of what's happening.
