Camera video not loading in android ophone

The camera video will not load in my phone but it does on the web application so the cameras are connected. It appears this started after the last update.

I can see the camera video in the Google home app but not the Nest app.

Hi there,

 

Thank you for your feedback on this, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest cams in the Nest app like you may be used too. However, you can now use the Google Home web app to view your cameras and doorbells.

 

The new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support.

Brad,

I did remove the nest app from my phone and then re-installed it and it works fine like it did a month ago. I appreciate the integration aspect but google home I do not see how to view the video recording and go back in time where you can see video without an event happening. Many times I can see activity beyond the distance that causes an event to be triggered. The nest app does this quite well. If this can be done in the Home app please explain.

Hey folks,

@KINGWF thanks for getting back to us. I'd like to confirm if you're referring to playing your recorded videos from your old version of Nest Cameras? If so, then we would advise you to use the Nest App instead. You may use your Google Home app if you have the new version of Nest Cameras.
