Hello… I’ve read a few posts about cameras going offline, and there doesn’t seem to be any resolution on those.
I’m having the same problem and bought another camera (different maker), connected it to the same wifi, and … they both went offline at the same time. So it’s not the Nest camera; it’s the fact that cellular networks go down momentarily every so often, and that’s just how it is.
My question is: can you remotely re-connect to the wifi once it’s up again? If I’m in another state or country and my camera goes offline, I am helpless.
Ideas, anyone?
Thanks in advance,
Rod

Hi @rodcu
There is no way to control the camera's without a connection.
But if your WiFi network goes down but will return online the camera's will autoconnect. 😊

Same here. My husband and I are both at work and our nest camera is offline. It happens once or twice a week! We have steady, secure wifi so it makes no sense. We need a solution and answers as well!

Hi everyone — and thanks for your answers. So here’s what I did: I tossed out the little portable wifi unit I was using, and replaced it with a proper router that has a SIM card in it. Voila! The camera still goes down occasionally when the router loses its cellular connection, but then it pops back up again a minute later. Seems like I have solved my problem!
