I have a Nest Cam which I haven't connected to the internet for some time. I'm trying to connect it via my phone with no success. I have connected it to my computer as prompted when when I plug it into my Mac desktop it says that "Nest Cam Setup needs to be updated.
The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information."
Is there a work around to get it connected to my internet.
Many thanks

If you have changed your Wi-Fi network since you last used your Nest Cam Indoor, it probably has your previous Wi-Fi settings and needs to be factory reset. But the 1st gen Nest Cam Indoor has no reset button and is supposed to be factory reset by removing it from the Google Nest app. If you are able to access it at all in the Google Nest app, try removing it, and then reinstalling it.
If you have no access at all, I've also seen posts in the past where Google Nest Community Specialists have recommended unplugging the Google Nest device for a full 48 hours--along with additional steps, apparently to force the device to reset; sometimes this apparently works and sometimes it does not. See this thread for details; it's the post from @aatienza:

The manual reset button worked! I didn't even realize there was one. Many thanks!
