Can’t connect a new battery camera

Hi…

 

I’m having problems adding a new nest battery camera to my system. Everything I have read says to disconnect the other cameras and install the new one. Then reconnect the other cams. No where does anyone mention how to “disconnect“ the other batter cams. Can someone please advise me how to do this?

You shouldn't have to remove all of your cameras in order to install a new one, unless something on Google Nest's servers has corrupted your Google Nest "home/structure".  (The circumstances when this occurs are not clear.)

However, if you actually want to do so, then in the Google Home app, select your camera, select Settings, and then click "Remove device" at the bottom of the screen; in the Google Nest app, select your camera, select Settings, and select "Remove camera" at the bottom of the screen.
