I have been trying to set up my new Google doorbell (battery). I have multiple Google products connected through the app without any problems. I even added a Google speaker a couple of days ago without any issues. When trying to set up the doorbell, however, my app repeatedly fails to connect to the home network. I have followed every recommendation, including disconnecting other devices. My daughter was able to set up the doorbell using her google home app, both on her phone and mine. I have deleted and reinstalled the app as well.
Any suggestions?

Hello, try this: Make sure you are on the newest version of the GOOGLE HOME app. (It does not necessarily automatically update). Go to the app store and search on the app and see if it shows "Update" and the download the update. Hope this helps.

I have confirmed i have the most recent update of Google Home. I've even Uninstaller and reinstalled it. The same problem has persisted.

Looks like I was able to solve the issue with the Doorbell by solving an issue with my Hub Max. Go figure. Thanks for the suggestion.

Can you tell me what you did? I am also having trouble setting up the doorbell battery version. I have reset it multiple times over a few days, and it still will not connect. it says I need to move it closer, but I literally have them together. But what did you do to your google hub? Should I remove my hub from my home?
