I have a brand new Vizio Smart TV with Chromecast built-in.
When I ask Google to "Show me Front Door on Living Room TV", the response I get back from Google is:
"Sorry the front door doesn't support streaming to remote screens"
I have other TVs that have the Chromecast connected through HDMI port and they are able to stream the doorbell camera when I ask.
Has anyone been able to stream their doorbell camera to a TV that has Chromecast built-in?

Apparently it only works with a Chromecast that has Google TV built in.

Thanks for the response. Ok I didn't even realize that Chromecast and Google TV were sort of two separate things.
I was on the phone with Chromecast support this morning about the issue. They said they are still looking into it and will get back to me this afternoon with a solution.

Neither did I until I was trying it myself. Didn't work on 2nd gen Chromecast that doesn't have a tv interface but worked on Chromecast with Google TV 4k that is basically android TV with a remote.

I guess my question would be is markdj correct?
Even though my tv has Chromecast built in I am unable to stream my doorbell video to the tv because it doesn't have Google tv as well?

Hey there Rflong5,
According to this article, The Nest Cam (battery) and Nest Doorbell (battery) can only stream to Chromecast with Google TV or a smart display screen. A smart display screen would be a device such as the Google Nest Hub. At the moment, it appears that the only Chromecast compatible devices are the Chromecast with Google TV or a TV with Google TV built-in.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you had any more questions.
Best regards,
Jeran
