Our internet went down so ATT tech came out to fix a crimped wire and got it up and running again. He had to wipe the modem ( modem name changed and password was reset) once the wifi was up and running again we tried reconnecting our 3 nest cameras but this message keeps coming up:
”This device is connected to another account. To continue with setup, it needs to be removed from its previous account.”
I still am using the same account as before so I don’t understand why this is happening. So I deleted all 3 from my account. After doing this and trying to set up the cameras again, I still get the same message. Really sucks I have hundreds of dollars worth of cameras and I can’t see any of them….
please someone help

Google Nest does not make it easy to update Wi-Fi settings for its cameras and doorbells. That's why their first recommendation is "update your home network so that the network name (SSID) and password are the same as before." That's what we did when we got a new router/modem, so we didn't have to update any of our cameras/doorbells.
