Charging issue- battery doorbell

Anyone having charging issues with battery doorbell?

What kind of charging issue? Is your doorbell running on battery or have you wired it to the doorbell system?

Yes. It was working then all of a sudden it stopped working and when I checked the app it said battery issue. How do I get this problem fixed or do I have to replace doorbell camera?

If you're seeing a message that says “Device offline due to battery issues”, the best thing to do is contact Google Support directly. They will advise you regarding next steps.

Oh yeah, big time! I don't have a wired doorbell so had to get the battery one. Wound up buying the charging cable and had to splice it with longer wires to reach an outdoor outlet. Doesn't charge right even though it's correctly wired and plugged in to a constant current. I just posted asking if it has a replaceable battery, at my wit's end.

Hey Folks,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries; we'll check this out. Just a few questions:Was there a power outage recently? Is your Nest Doorbell hardwired or run through a battery? If it runs on battery, have you charged it for at least 6 hours? 
 

Try to factory reset the Nest doorbell then reinstall it on the Google home app. Here is a link on how to reset your Nest doorbell.
