I'm so confused about what to do -
Currently, I have:
- Nest thermostat
- Nest temperature sensors
- Nest Cam IQ
- Nest Cam IQ Outdoor
- Nest Secure alarm
I'm controlling everything seamlessly with the Nest app.
Now Google is releasing new Nest cams and I'm really interested in picking up the Nest Floodlight Cam... but this is where things get bad... I'm reading that it won't work with the Nest app... you have to use Google Home with the new cameras.
That wouldn't be a big deal, but... unless I'm mistaken, it looks like Google Home is half-baked and doesn't support all of the existing Nest devices? These would be my Nest temperature sensors and my Nest Secure alarm system.
What a mess Google! What do I do?
Can I have my devices both in Google Home and the Nest app?
Or do I have to pick which devices go where? Like keep my Thermostat and temp sensors and Secure alarm on the Nest app and move only the three cameras to Google Home?
Or am I stuck with only using Google Home once I start using it and end up having no way to use my other Nest devices that aren't supported by Google Home?
So confused...
