Why does my doorbell require being viewed and setup using the Nest App while the outdoor cameras I purchased required the Google Home app still?
I purchased all devices at the same time, last year. I had this issue when I set them up, but assumed it would be addressed as Google converted everything to Google Home, but I just had to re-add all my devices (network issue) and found I still have this issue!
Is google ever going to make it so all devices work with a single app?
Its also annoying seeing them even try to advertise any sub service to me when they cant even make the app experience work for me!

Hello everyone,
@Hatch1, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. The new Nest Cameras and Nest Doorbells are exclusive to the Google Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. I understand where you're coming from. We’ll take note of it and ensure that we'll learn from your experience as we continually improve our products and services. I'd suggest you send feedback using this link to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this. Please let me know if you have other questions or concerns as I will be locking this after 24 hours. Feel free to start a new thread and we'll be happy to help.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
Regards,
Emerson
