Just got the new Google WiFi Pro and can't get the doorbell to connect. I have removed it from the app and done a factory reset. When trying to add it back, it just keeps trying to connect and it never does. It doesn't even get to the point where I can choose the new WiFi. I have a camera that easily reconnected, so I am quite frustrated.

Hey Archie,
I found another thread that solved this problem. Apparently when doing a reset on the doorbell, the reset button. Needs to be held for 30 seconds rather than the 12 that is in the instructions. Thanks for your help.

Hey Muleman329,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. Could you tell us the exact message you're getting? What's the status light of your doorbell? Have you tried reinstalling the Google Home app to make sure it's up-to-date?
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Archie

Thanks for getting back to me Archie. The message I get is "Connecting to your device" then it never connects. Then it says "make sure your device and phone are on the same network". That is the problem. It never allows me to select what network to use even after doing a factory reset. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hey Muleman329,
I'm sorry for the delay. What phone are you using to set up your doorbell (Android, iOS)? Could you tell us the status light of your doorbell? Are you using a dual-band router (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz)? Make sure your phone and doorbell are closer to each other. Also, turn off your mobile data while setting it up. Keep us posted.
Thanks,
Archie
