My surface of my Nest Doorbell (wired) is peeling and chipping on the front. Is there a fix or replacement to this manufacturing issue?

I have the same problem and I have contacted google by phone and also using this board, where Brad (community specialist) opened a case and after wasting hours of my time got denied. They claimed that their policy has changed and that they only replace devices that are under warranty. It is a complete disgrace that a multi-billion dollar company that is clearly aware of this manufacturer defect can simply decide to wash their hands. I heavily use Google as my smart home technology platform and I am very disappointed by their lack of accountability.

It’s manufacturing defect, unless your doorbell is under warranty (<=12 months for US), Google can’t help you.
