Doorbell wired offline issue

My doorbell says  Offline all night sometimes.  I was blaming my wifi.  It's not.  I have RESET it by taking if off from the plate.   Rebooted my phone.   Rebooted wifi multiple times.  It works for a few days then down again.

Should I request a replacement ?  This is getting ridiculous.   I've only had it a few months

I worked with Nest Customer service.  They really tried.  I learned where the factory RESET button was.

It still wouldn't connect although my network at my house says YES its connected.    But its 5g

I read somewhere here or on the Google smoogle 🤣... that sometimes NEST products need 2.4 to be stable.    I have SMART Wifi which is SUPPOSED to connect what the product need.  5g or 2.4.  Something isnt very smart because my door bell and nest mini speaker both need 2.4 or they keep going offline.

So I pulled out an old EXTENDER.... hoping its 2.4 since it's so old.  I set it up to work.  Hooked my doorbell and mini .  THEY ARE BOTH WORKING and STABLE.    I enjoy tinkering with things anyway.  So I had a fun Sunday afternoon n

I would suggest opening a support ticket and speaking with an actual Google Nest Tech.  If they determine that the camera has an issue then they can authorize a replacement.  Keep in mind the process is a big long and you may be on the phone for an hour+.  Here is the link:

Wow,,,, I'm running a mesh system that does both 2 & 5Ghz and all my nest devices are happy and almost never go off line.  But glad to hear you were up and running.
