I'm flagging this so that a Google employee will respond directly to you, as I'm sorry to say I'm stumped as to why this is happening !

Are you on the same wifi network? Is the signal weak? Have you tried rebooting your router ?
10-21-2021 05:27 PM
It’s saying it cannot connect to assisting devices. I just installed my Hub and Display Monitor without any problem. Idk about the connectivity though

Try a reboot of your router , phone, and the nest hello. It's probably a connection issue that will be resolved with those reboots.

How do I reboot the hello
10-21-2021 06:17 PM
Tip: The reset pin on the Nest Doorbell (battery) is located below the USB port on the back of the doorbell.
10-21-2021 06:18 PM
I did that and it still won’t connect
10-21-2021 06:19 PM
And you rebooted your phone and router as well? What kind of phone is it?
10-21-2021 06:22 PM
I reset my router and my phone I have an iPhone

Is the nest hello plugged in via the usb port ? Do you have any alternative device that can run the Google home app to try?
10-21-2021 06:32 PM
Yes I have it plugged in with a 12w block ... and what do you mean by alternate device like another phone?
10-21-2021 06:33 PM
Yes another phone or tablet , its definitely a connection issue and I wanted to see if we could get rid of a variable, I'm also exploring some other avenues for you looking for a workaround, worst case I'll escalate this for you of course.
10-21-2021 06:35 PM
No I don’t just smart TVs nothing else
10-21-2021 06:41 PM
Okay I'm gonna ask that you do a full factory reset on the hello doorbell , if this doesn't work I think I'll have to escalate ,
Locate the reset pin hole on the back of the doorbell.
Tip: The reset pin on the Nest Doorbell (battery) is located below the USB port on the back of the doorbell.
Insert and hold the pin (you can use an unfolded paperclip or a thumbtack):
At 10 seconds, the status light will blink yellow four times, and you’ll hear a countdown tone.
At 12 seconds, the status light will be steady, solid yellow while the doorbell starts the factory reset, and you’ll hear a confirmation tone.
Release the button. Your doorbell will restore to its factory settings.

Oh my goodness I didn't ask this yet, is your Bluetooth turned on on your phone? That's how the phone connects to the nest to get setup.
10-21-2021 06:53 PM
Yes always on
10-21-2021 06:50 PM
Still nothing 😞

Okay last item ,
On your iOS device’s home screen (iOS 14 or later), tap Settings.
Tap Privacy and then Local Network. You’ll find a list of apps.
Turn on Local Network Access for the app(s) you would like to allow access to your network. This will allow permissions for your device to discover Cast-enabled devices.

Google home and nest is enabled
10-21-2021 07:03 PM

10-21-2021 07:04 PM
