Picture quality during day is terrible always seems hazy and discolored. Any suggestions

Hi Jimmy81.  Was this camera working okay and this is a new problem?  Or is it like this brand new out of the box?  

I'm pretty sure it is defective and you should return it and then separately buy a new one.

Another option (but not my favorite way to go) is this:  in the GOOGLE HOME app and view your camera with the bad image.  In the upper right corner click on the 3-dots icon.  Then select HELP and the at the bottom choose CONTACT US or FEEDBACK and follow the instruction to report the problem.
