Failure to record

Camera is not saving any history.

When we walk on camera view it does not save in history.

Do you have a Nest Aware subscription? You can check your subscription here:

https://store.google.com/subscriptions

If you do not have a subscription, then you only get event video history for the most recent 3 hours. In addition, if your battery camera is not plugged in and is running on battery power, then it is normally in "Idle" mode and has to wake up to detect an event before it can record it. Our battery camera is plugged in, but IF we unplug it, it does not do well at detecting an event (like walking in front of it) and therefore does not record the event.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries; let me help you out. Just a few questions: What type of Nest camera are you using? Do you have an active Nest-aware subscription? If so, Have you created new Activity Zones? Please check the link that MplsCustomer provided to learn more about the Nest Aware Subscription.

I am having a similar issue. My doorbell was alerting and recording just fine, but now it is no longer waking up from events or alerting when it does wake up. That was literally the whole point of buying it for me.
