Follow up - Solar Panel (Wasserstien) draining batter in days

Following up from the previous thread (link below). 

Wasserstein sent a replacement panel, I hooked it up, ran it for 24 hours and the battery charged from 54% to 68% over 5-6 hours of direct sun. So the panel and camera software does work! I guess I just had a faulty device.

I've been following your previous thread as I too would like to purchase the solar panel but with idle mode in mind. Don't need and wouldn't want Live Mode on all the time. Was this issue also resolved with the new panel?

So interesting enough, it does stay in live mode however the battery doesn't drain at the same rate as before and the panel actually charges the battery. So they must have fixed the issue software side and the new panel fixed the hardware issue, I'd recommend buying the panel.
