Full Screen Landscape

Just bought a new Nest Hello Wired Doorbell to replace my old one. When I turned my iPhone to landscape mode the Nest App used to show the video in full screen, filling the whole screen. But now that doesn’t happen. What is the reason for this? Are you telling me that the product got downgraded on a new revision?

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I wanted to make sure that your concern was acknowledged. Is your screen position locked before you try to switch to this viewing mode? And is your app up to date?

Best Regards,

Brad.

Hi - my screen is not locked from rotating; it rotates. I always have the latest app; double checked. The screen rotates, the app itself changes aspect ratio, but the video feed does not stretch to fill the whole screen as it used to. It now has black space on either side. With the previous versions of Hello hardware the video feed would adjust to go into landscape mode and fill the whole screen without losing resolution. It was a very nice feature. Looks like this was changed?
