GOOGLE NEST BATTERY CAMERA FEEDBACK TO PROSPECTIVE BUYERS

If any prospective consumers are looking at buying Google Nest Battery Cameras just dont buy them. Walk away buy another brand. Dont believe the google advertising spiel. The battery cameras and associated home app are a complete and utter travesty of the worse proportions. The cameras simply do not perform at all in any way as they're advertised. The home app that runs the cameras is constantly faulty. If you were to buy these cameras be prepared for constant issues....

I could waste 100,000 words explaning why the cams are total and utter garbage i wont though. Just expect constant issues from a faulty product that is """NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE THEY SIMPLY DO NOT PERFORM""". Google support is an absolute nightmare you might be lucky to strike 1 in 10 support reps that are willing to help and are genuine. The other 9 in 10 support reps simply have no idea and will drive you crazy with their constant unrelated banter and repeated nonsensical questions...

****ITS SIMPLE JUST DON'T BUY GOOGLE NEST BATTERY CAMERAS IF YOU WANT A PRODUCT FIT FOR PURPOSE AND WANT TO KEEP YOUR SANITY****

Ouch!  Your experience has not been good!

If you can plug them in with the optional power cable, they perform about as well as the older Google Nest cameras. We've had a Google Nest Camera (Battery) for 19 months now, and it's always "Live" and online and the battery has remained charged through 2 Minnesota winters. But the Google Home app is definitely not as good as the Google Nest app, and is missing several key options.

Why the constant urge to lock threads when the issues are not even remotely resolved? My cameras have only gotten worse!

My issues are the cameras only wake up about half the time they are supposed to. I've had people walk right past the cameras and it doesn't record anything. But then on the the other hand I'll get multiple notifications a day when there's nothing there from multiple cameras. To top it off in the winter I get cold weather alerts that can't be silenced without turning off all alerts. They are useless for any type of home security. The best thing you could do to help me would be to give me my money back so I can buy something that works!  I have 10 of these cameras so it's not like it's an issue with one. They are all garbage!

I completely agree.  The cameras are garbage and the customer service is the worst I've ever experienced.  If I could return them I would in a heartbeat!
