So I'm using Google Doorbell (Battery), which is wired and several Nest Hubs and Nest Minis in my house. Everything worked just fine for 8 months.
Starting in the middle of the last week, the nest hubs randomly stopped playing a ring sound, when the Doorbell is activated. It's really random, sometimes it works sometimes not. Connection and video feed is completely stable, also I get a notification on my phone, when someone rings. But the Nest Hubs don't do anything. I checked, when the bell is pushed, a white pop up screen appears, as if it would show me the video feed, but directly dissappears, whithout ringing. Also it doesn't say "there's someone at the door" or whatever (I'm from Germany) anymore.
I'm using a mesh Wifi6 system and 1000mbit cable internet, which runs completely stable. All other connected devices are running whithout any issues. I haven't changed any configuration in the last 6 months.
Anyone with similar problems here? Or any solutions for this issues?

Hello, A couple things come to mind. These doorbells have a small battery in them and over time they stop charging sufficiently to run the camera. So one question is how old is it?
But the other thing that comes to mind is a know problem with the cameras not properly charging in cold weather. Read this and see if it sounds like what you might be running into...

It's only 8 months old. The battery is charged to 75% and it's still charging, because during the last week and right now it's 10°C outside.

Something's broken with google home, I guess. Maybe it has to do with the Nest Hub issues, maybe not so. Quite a few people experience these kinds of problems:

Yes it seems like something is broken with google home. Because I haven't changed anything in my setup. Thanks for the link!

Since you are still in the one-year warranty period it probably makes sense to open and official support ticket and speak with a a google tech person. They might send you out a replacement. Here is the link to get you going. Once you answer the questions there will be the ability to speak with a real person. They may want to do some basic trouble shooting with you so it is a good idea to set aside an hour.
Good luck and please return here and let us k know how it went.
