Has my nest reached end of life or is there still help?

So I've had my nest hardwired doorbell for about 4 or 5 years within the last 6 months I'd say it's not working I go on to either Google home or the nest app it's not connected I have in this time changed routers done a hard reset got a new transformer. It will work once I pull power away or hard reset it and then it'll go offline I'll get the notification it's been offline for over 10 minutes and then it'll randomly come back on for a very short period of time anyone else have this problem and found a solution I would love to know this doorbell has been on an inside porch not fully exposed to the elements but does go through temperature extremes throughout the year of -10 to probably a hundred and 110.

All the nest doorbells (including the Nest Hello and the newer Gen 2 doorbells) have an internal battery that needs to be working in order for the camera to work properly.  Given the age of your camera I'm guessing that is the problem.  And resetting it won't help.  To make matters worse the battery is not user replaceable.  However I believe there are some Youtube videos that show you how but it isn't pretty.

I had my nest hello stop working about 2 years ago and I ended up buying one used from an ebay seller and it is still working great.

You might also be thinking about replacing it with one of the newer Gen 2 doorbells.  I did that and returned it because it only works in the Google Home app and not in the NEST app which is where all my other cameras are.  And although Google is moving the functions of the NEST app over to the GOOGLE HOME app it is taking a lot longer than anyone anticipated and it still lacks a number of features a of today (Feb 2024).   So I suggest buying a used NEST HELLO is the best way to go for now.

Hope this helps

I would not be surprised that your cameras have a connection problem to your wifi. A mesh router with multiple mesh points would surely be the best configuration to maintain a strong wifi signal everywhere.

Unfortunately that's definitely not the problem. When this problem first started I had the router from my ISP. Being I started adding more and more smart home devices I decided maybe it was a network issue so purchased my own and same issue. I do think emptynester is right on this

Did not realize that battery had to be working. I know the internal battery is dead as a doornail. Shuts down as soon as I disconnect transformer power from it. I'm definitely an if I can fix it at least give it the college try type lol I mean you can't break broken right? 🤷Thanks a lot!

Great,  good luck.  I'd love to hear if you are successful in the battery replacement.   I know there is a youtube video that does a good job at showing the procedure and as I recall it tells you what battery to get.   My nest Hello is getting up there in years and I may soon be faced with this as well.
