I have just installed a powered Google Nest Doorbell at home. The house looks out onto the main road which has a lot of traffic on it throughout the day. Is there any way to stop the doorbell from capturing the traffic as events, as I am getting thousands of these a day.
Is there a plan to allow the creation of a zone over the road and set it to ignore movement in that zone?

Yes, you can create a zone and then set the zone to either record with notifications, record without notifications, or don't record and no notifications.
Go to the camera feed, press the gear icon (settings), press event, press seen events, then you can set it up there.
I want to do the second option (record, but no notifications), but I think there is a bug as it's still sending notifications for that zone. I *think* the other 2 options work correctly.
