Google Nest Doorbell (Wired) 2nd gen warranty and installation EU

Hello,

We've been waiting in Europe for way too long for the 2nd gen doorbell.

What is the warranty like from google if we were to export it?

Also what is necessary to install it, Europe having 220volt?

Is it at all possible?

Thanks!

Lindy

Hi LindyG,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. Google warrants that the Google Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use as described in the published product documentation for two years from the date of original purchase by you anywhere in the UK, EEA (except France) or Switzerland (“Limited Warranty”).

The Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) has higher power requirements than most doorbells. You need a transformer that is rated for 16-24 V AC, 10-40 VA to provide enough power to your doorbell. If you've already installed your doorbell and you see a blinking yellow light on the front, your doorbell isn't receiving enough power. To be sure, you may contact your local electrician for proper installation.
