Google Nest Lock offline

We have Google Nest door lock, camera and thermostat at our Str.  Our doors are saying “offline” but everything else is working. We are 10 hours away.  We have set a temporary code for our guest arriving tomorrow.  We are getting conflicting information.  Can the guest gain access with the temporary code if the doors are offline?

Even if your lock is offline, most passcodes will still work. So will the thumb turn inside your home. Learn more about locking and unlocking. However, anyone with scheduled access to your home won't be able to use a passcode to open the door while the lock is offline.
