Google Nest Poor Customer Service

I have a Nest IQ Outdoor Camera that had an issue where it lost power  Google sent a replacement under the warranty and the replacement camera ended up having the same issue and did not last a full year.  Google is telling me that the product is out of warranty and will not assist me in getting a replacement camera even at a discount which is unprofessional since they were selling a defected product that was eventually discontinued.
