Google Nest is down the tubes

I have been a long time nest user and have replaced all my cameras with older versions from eBay.  Now the old cameras cost more than new.

Whelp, i needed to add more cameras and bought the battery cameras.

I come to find many issues.

#1 no continuous recording unless it's on power.

#2 a two pack comes with a single power cord

#3 power cord is not outdoor rated

#4 i can't use the nest app anymore and I'm forced to Google home

That's in top of existing issues

#1 inability to create long clips

#2 inability to download original video

#3 spotty "sensing"

#4 notifications way too late.  Eg. someone rings my bell and is physically seen driving away before my Google homes or phone let me know

#5 instable connections, cameras randomly go offline and online.

My Nest thermostat and smoke detectors have been fine.

But that said im ditching everything and moving to another vendor.  I've just had it.

Everything google used to beike a science project and it was cool.  Until those science projects either get neglected after people start relying on them or just become an ugly mess.

I am a shareholder as well, but I'm getting sick of the disappointment.

I've already selected and received product from another vendor.  Feel free to forward my feedback to the product management team or not.  I won't be a customer next week once my new cameras are installed so it makes no difference to me.
