I have a constant red light and it appears the night vision does not work. I have 7 of these cameras in my house and four of them have the constant red light (with no night vision). The other three are working fine with a constant green light.
I’ve checked several forums and there is no manual reset button on the first gen camera. There is a little hole to the right of the micro usb plug but it does nothing when poked. I’ve tried uninstalling the camera. I’ve also tried changing the power source (plug) and the cable. Any other suggestions to get it to work properly?

Hello Andrewhwang,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. We hear you and we wanted to help you with this.
Give these steps a try:
1. Plug your camera into your computer.
Use the included USB cable to plug your Nest Camera directly into a USB port on your computer.
The light on the front of your Nest Camera should glow blue (yellow on Dropcam), to indicate that the camera is starting up. After a moment, the light should begin to blink
2. Once your Nest Camera finishes starting up, a window should pop up on your computer with Nest Cam or Dropcam setup icons for both Mac OS and Windows. Double-click on the icon for the OS that your computer uses.
Nest cam and drop cam icons
Important: Keep your Nest Camera plugged into your computer until prompted.
3. Follow the instructions to finish setup.
