2 problems:
1. Nest doorbell notification on my Android is vibrate. How do I add a 'unique' ringtone from the usual Android ringtone list?
2. I want a simple Nest compatible plug-in chime in the family room, which is 70' away from the front door, that I can hear as I don't carry my phone around when at home. My home does not have an existing doorbell system since remodeled.

For #2, you can buy a Nest Hub or Nest Mini, and then turn on "Visitor announcements" on your Google Nest Hello Doorbell to get announcements whenever the doorbell button is pressed. It works over your home's WiFi.

Thanks - should i get the Google Home Mini or Nest mini?
All I simply want is a doorbell ring tone speaker that is mounted on a hall duplex plug, period, nothing more.

Hi there,
I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I would love to help however I can. @MplsCustomer thanks for your help, and anyone else who provided suggestions. I would have the same suggestion, I have a Nest Mini and it works great for this purpose. Decided which display works best, and then you can use it as a chime.
Best regards,
Brad

Hi Do you know if there is a way to turn up the notification volume only for the google home mini?

In my experience, there is no separate volume control for "Visitor announcements". If the volume on your Nest Mini is turned up high (for all functions), "Visitor announcements" on your Nest Mini will be louder.
