Has anyone received assistance on the peeling issue?

I was told that I had no options and had to buy a new one because I was out of warranty. The customer service/warranty for such an EXPENSIVE DOORBELL is terrible. This being a known issue, should be resolved without having to jump through hoops -  just to be denied

 
When designing my smart home, I decided to go the Google route because I am a big fan. But, this makes me want to rethink/redesign and go the Alexa route just because of Amazons return policy and customer service.

Really disappointed.
 
The doorbell is in non-direct sun and has a protective cover.

I am terribly sorry to hear that your Nest Hello Doorbell has been cracking and peeling! I can imagine this has been a very frustrating experience for you. However, I would love to look into this further for you!
