Trying to setup my new Doorbell but the app keeps finding a Wifi device to setup....which isn't mine. It won't move past it. Keeps finding it over and over.
Thoughts?

Im having the same issue, when I try to add it manually and scan the qr code, it scans it but nothing happens

I’m sorry you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. Is this your first time setting up your doorbell? What phone are you using to set it up? Also, have you tried any troubleshooting steps to fix this?

Hey it was the first time. I used a pixel 3. I ended up adding my partner to the home and using their phone (pixel 3 as well) which worked but it still doesn't let me add any nest devices

Thanks for getting back to us. Have you tried reinstalling the Google Home app to make sure it's up-to-date? Also, could you send us a photo of what's happening so I can take a closer look?

Yep did all that. It's hard to send a screenshot as nothing happens. It gets to the scan code bit, you scan it and it goes back to the app home menu.

Could you check if the date and time is correct and set to automatically? Check if the Nest app has permission to access your phone's location. Also, check for software updates on your phone. Obsolete OS versions may break some app functionality.
