Yes I believe I had to make sure I held the reset button the whole time it shut down and turned back on

I am having the same problem. Is Google having issues?

I am as well … I get this error immediately after trying to connect a Nest Cam to google home ios app.  I tried unplugging the nest cam, doing the factory reset, nothing works

this did eventually work for me later yesterday.  Only thing I changed was moving into a different room.  Not sure why that would affect BlueTooth.  But maybe something was fixed on google’s end.

Same issue. Same message anyone with a solution? It doesn’t ask for my WiFi which is think is the issue and there’s no place to enter or add a network..

Not sure if you saw above.  I tried in a different location (different room) and it did work.  That doesn’t make any sense to me, but maybe there was some sort of RF interference or something.  Worth a try

I sent a feed back report but never heard back I knew you had to hold the button down on the camera to reset it for a long time but in my case I had to hold the button down way after it turned back on (continuancly) and also I believe it’s very important to make sure the camera is moved from any other account

I just received a camera from Amazon today and downloaded the Google Home app for the first time.  I’m having this issue and it doesn’t matter what room I’m in.  I can’t set up the camera.

Same issue following a migration from Nest so that we could add a newly purchased Gen 2 wired Nest Cam, light is white when I plug it in, then turns blue, immediately get the "we're having trouble loading data from your home"

There was no solution - I returned the camera to the store.  Super disappointed with Google.

Anyone having issues after Nest Migration, you're wasting your breath here. I've got years have been back and forth with Nest or Google support with no answers. My home structures can't be deleted, I can't add devices, my cameras don't work. Only workaround I can find is using a different email entirely with your home account and devices. If you're thinking of purchasing the whole suite of Google products, don't. I have and I now regret it. Their support for customers and products stink. They'll just "feedback" and "ticket" you to death.
