I have an original Nest outdoor camera at my parents house, far from me. It has disconnected. They tell me it has power and a pulsing blue light. The wifi is up at their house. Can I reset this and reconnect remotely? I have a photo of the QR code and numbers on the bottom of the camera. They are 7 hours away.

When we have a power outage, one or two of our Google Nest Outdoor Cameras go offline, and we have to unplug them for a minute and then plug them back in to get them to come back online. Other customers in this forum have reported the same thing.
If this doesn't work, I don't know whether you can go to the "home" for your parents' house in your Google Nest app and reinstall the camera, using the 6-character Setup Code, since you'll be on a different Wi-Fi network when you do so.

Hey folks,
Raydoc, were you able to try restarting your camera by unplugging them for a minute? About setting it up, your phone needs to be nearby the camera and connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Check out this link for additional help.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
Thanks,
Archie
