How do I return my nest iq outdoor as it won't turn on?

We removed the camera to paint the house, buy hen reconnecting it wouldn't power on at all. Ive noe spent £55 on a new power cable but it still won't turn on. Its only 8 months old

Well Google claim to have opened a case, but not kuch else has happened. Im still without my camera and no sign of when a replacement will be sorted. Is Google giving up on nest cams and I'm better moving elsewhere?
