After using the camera for about two months, the night vision function of the camera suddenly stopped working.
Even after inquiring to Google, there is no progress even after about 3 months because the technical department is busy.
Even if I asked for a replacement, I was told that the replacement would not be possible unless there was an answer from the technical department.
I came to the community because I can't expect inquiries.
Is there anyone who could exchange it?
Also, how long did it take you to replace it?
I'm using it in my child's room, so I want to solve it as soon as possible.
Thanks for posting here in the community. You might want to check your outdoor lights and make sure that it don’t shine into the camera lens. In some cases, bright lights can delay or prevent the camera from switching to Night Vision. Hit this link for the steps that you can do from your Google Home app or Nest app.
With regards to the replacement process, our support team can handle that. If they determined that your Nest Camera needs to be replaced and if it's still under warranty then they can process it right away. You may reach them here.
