How to connect Google assistant

Hello everyone. Can anyone help? I have a problem: the camera does not have a QR code and no number at all. The camera was bought on AliExpress! But there is something that can be used in the Google Assistant function! Everything loads, but the assistant does not work? The camera is good, sees in the dark, tracks movement and much more. If you have any advice, I will be grateful. Thank you very much.

The 2nd gen Google Nest Indoor Wired Camera (we have one) comes with a QR code sticker that is affixed to the face of the camera, and the instructions ask that you keep it with your Quick Start Guide.  If you have misplaced the sticker, you can select "Continue without scanning" during the install process and enter the 6-character alphanumeric setup code on the base of the camera, as shown at about 1:00 in the install video in this Help topic:

I don't know what Google Assistant functions you are trying to find, or what you mean by "connect Google Assistant.:  We can view our camera on our Nest Hubs by saying "Hey Google, show Living Room".

Good day. Thank you very much for the very detailed advice. The thing is that I bought this camera on Ali Express, and there was no QR-cod and number . But the thing is that the manual says that the camera can be connected and works with Google Assistant. The application is installed and everything is fine, but I can’t connect it because it doesn’t have this  QR code. So I thought that maybe someone else has this problem? But I think that it does not connect to Google Assistant. Thank you very much again.

I've never dealt with Ali Express, and don't know why they would remove the QR code from your Google Nest camera.

However, as I mentioned earlier, the 6-character alphanumeric setup code is printed on the base of the camera, and it can be used instead of the QR code when installing the camera in the Google Home app, by selecting "Continue without scanning".

I still don't know what you mean when you say your camera "does not connect to Google Assistant".

What is it that you are trying to do? If you have installed your camera in the Google Home app and can view your camera in the Google Home app, you should be able to ask Google Assistant on any Nest Hub that is connected to your Google Nest "home/structure", "Hey Google, show [YOUR CAMERA NAME]", and it will stream your camera's video stream on your Nest Hub. That's about the only Google Assistant spoken command that is available for cameras and doorbells.

In the Help topic below, Google Nest says you can say "Hey Google, turn off [YOUR CAMERA NAME]" in order to stop the video stream, but that command never works; it just says, "Sorry, it looks like that device hasn't been set up":

If you say "Hey Google, stop" when it is streaming a camera, it turns off the camera instead of stopping the camera stream.

If you say "Hey Google, stop showing [YOUR CAMERA NAME]" or "Hey Google, stop streaming the [YOUR CAMERA NAME]" when it is streaming a camera, it says "Sorry, nothing is playing right now."
