I specifically bought this camera to record 24/7 my patio and then be able to download the video (or a time lapse of 24 hours of recording) in order to check the sun movement on my garden and optimize the location of my plants and pots each season. I installed the camera outdoors, wall mounted and added the cable to make it wired. I signed up for Nest Aware Plus subscription (which was very annoying, I had to cancel my former basic subscription, wait a month for it to expire and then sign up again for the Plus subscription).
Did all that and took all this time, but the only instructions I found on how to obtain 24/7 footage are using the Nest website/app, and this camera doesn't seem compatible with the Nest app (when you try to add it there, it send you to the Google Home app). How can I get the 24/7 footage of my Nest Cam (battery)??

We've had a battery camera for almost 2-1/2 years, and because it's an 2nd gen camera, we access 24/7 video history provided by our Nest Aware Plus subscription in the Google Home app. See this Help topic:

You cannot add 2nd gen cameras and doorbells to the Google Nest app.
(We've had to use 2 apps to access history from our cameras since getting the 2nd gen camera.)

Hello, I have this same camera using the Google Home app and it does indeed record 24/7.
Let's check this first. Confirm that you actually have the Nest Aware "PLUS" subscription. Do this by going into the Google Home app and at the top level (where you see your devices) click the SETTING gear in the lower right corner. The scroll down and select Subscriptions. Then select NEST AWARE. At the top it should say "NEST AWARE PLUS". Does it say that?
Next, confirm that it is indeed seeing the 24/7 power connection. View the camera image from the Google Home app and then select the 3-dots in the upper right corner. Then select BATTERY. If the camera is getting proper wired power then it should say PLUGGED IN at the very top along with a big circle and an "infinity" sign in the middle.
Let me know what you find
