  • I have 2 Icsee cameras now linked to my Google home. They both show in devices and on my display, but i’m unable to open them. When trying to access them it just says something went wrong. I have checked and triple checked user and pass, all devices are on 2.4g. Any ideas please?

Hello JustinR,

Thanks for reaching out the Community.

We're sorry to hear about this experience. Since you've mentioned that you have these cameras working except on the Google Nest display, could you tell us if you're seeing the cameras from the Google Home app? Are they showing offline or any error prompt? Also, let's try to ask your Google Nest display, "OK Google, stream camera on <name of your Google Nest display>".

Let us know if it works.

Best,

Princess

That is what I get on the display, in the home app just get the continuing circle as if it’s trying to connect. All show in the icsee app.
thank you

Hi, sorry have had a messes up experience with Google support with a nest hub stuck in updating loop, I’ve been lied to fobbed off and just generally taken for a fool, even agreed having calls from California. Google isn’t my mate atm

Hi folks

I'm sorry for this inconvenience and that you're not having the experience you expect. I'm here to help!

To troubleshoot the issue, I have a few questions:

  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps already? If so, could you tell me what you did?

Here are some initial steps that might help:

  1. Sync your devices: Try saying 'Hey google, sync all my devices." This ensures all your cameras are connected to the same home structure.
  2. Additional troubleshooting: If syncing does not work, I can provide more specific troubleshooting steps based on your device model.

Please let me know how it goes!

Best Regards,

Obed

Hi Onedv, I'm afraid to say I've given up on the icsee cameras as my nest hub is stuck in an infinite update loop, and time spent in online chat and phone calls has only gotten me lied to and ignored 😞

Hi @JustinR,

I'm sorry for the experience you have had and that your icsee cameras do not work as they should on your Nest Hub, as a next step I recommend you perform a factory reset on your Nest Hub, here I share the link where you can follow the instructions depending on the device that you have.

Let me know how it goes!

Best Regards,

Obed

Already been through everything with 3 agents and a supervisor, I shared video confirming the issue, supervisor promised he’d get back to me after asking for name address etc, I heard nothing, then found via a screenshot from yet another agent that the case was closed!!! Spoke to a woman on the phone who told me she would investigate but couldn’t share any info on the outcome as it was an internal investigation. I’m left with a very bad taste in my mouth with being lied to and lead on, and a nest hub that is a paperweight.  So I think you may see that I have no faith in Google support any longer 🙁

Hi! Coming back with their response after a week talking with them:

As much as I would love to help you fix the connectivity issues with your iCSee cameras, the display, and the Google Home App itself, unfortunately, there are just some 3rd party cameras that do not provide full integration or live feed In the Google Home App and the display as well. A limited number of brands offer full integration, meaning you can see the live feed directly within the Google Home App. Currently, the live feed feature is mainly available for Google Nest cameras and some Arlo models.

To check out the list of cameras fully integrated on the Google Home App, please check the list below:

Not even about the hub anymore, just being lied to and fobbed off just isn’t on from a company this size, or any for that matter.
i shan’t be investing anymore in Google home products 😔

Yeah unfortunately with the nest hub broken I can’t even set an alarm let alone see any of cameras.
