Indoor Nest Camera keeps going offline

JeffRay80

Hello, I recently bought an indoor Nest Security Cam 1080p (Wired)- 2nd Gen, and placed it in my house. It routinely goes "offline." Seems like when I come home it works again but when I am gone for awhile it goes offline. I have unplugged it multiple times and plugged it back in. Yesterday I uninstalled it from the app and added it. I have 2 other Nest cams (outdoor) and have NEVER had this problem. I have had them for years! I have a VERY powerful internet connection and I have never had any issues with my router... like I said, my other camera's work just fine (NEVER go offline) just this camera. I access the camera using the Google Home App on my iPhone.

I don't know if it is a lemon of a camera or if I am doing something else wrong. Any help would be so appreciated!

Thanks All!

It almost sounds like you might have an 'automation' set so that the camera stops working when the app sees you have  left your house.

You may try and call and speak to an actual Google tech and see what they say.  You can open a support ticket here (link below) and after you answer the questions the is a button that lets you do on-line chat or have them call you.
