Interact with Nest Camera through Google Home Routines or from Nest Hub.

While the cams work fine with home/away routines, it seems not possible to:

- turn the cams on/off using other google home routines
- turn the cams on/off using google assistance from the nest hub
- turn the cams on/off on a schedule

I have both an original nest cam and a google nest cam indoor. The original one I can still use through the Nest app, which does allow for a schedule or home/away control.
With the Google home app, the routines seem interesting, but I can't figure out how to let them control the cameras. A fallback to simple schedule, would also be helpful, but also seems not supported.
So please let me know how I should go about this or what the options are to automatically turn the cams on during the night?

I'm afraid this feature is not available. You can only use the Home and Away Routines to turn the Nest Cameras off/on.
