Is this seriously the ONLY support I get?

Why can't I reset this device and find it via the Home app? I have FOUR of these things, they all turn green after a hard reset and none of them can be detected when I try to add a device.

The WORST part - I have spent the better part of 3 hours trying to find documentation. Why is it so hard to organize documentation around model numbers? Mine is G3AL9 and one would THINK a simple google search and I would be on my way setting these things up.

Yes, I have similar problems. I think the we hole Google home thing is flawed.

I have same issue.  Please let me know how to resolve when you find out.  Internet says it needs to be connected to Home in order to remove it but I no longer have access to the wi-fi it was originally paired to.

Hi folks,

Thanks for visiting the Community. My apologies for the late response here. We'd be happy to take a look into this for you. May I know which Nest device you need help with?

Thanks,

JT

Nest Cam (battery).  I moved out of state and did not know I needed to delete the device while still connected to the old wi-fi.  I no longer have access to the old wi-fi.

Finally, I have resolved the problem through factory reset.  All working good now.  Reset button is on top not next to the plug.

No, I think I'm good. Appears one has to hard reset the device for a long long time? Isn't there INSTRUCTIONS on how to reset them?

Hey folks,

Mhsafs, gotcha. How’s it going with your Nest camera? Still need our help?

Newbie5, I know how you feel about this. I’d definitely feel the same way as a user myself. Let’s have a better look — could you try to factory reset your Nest Camera (battery)? And let me know how it goes?

Best,

JT

I did a factory reset, restarted my phone and it worked.
