Issue with nest app

Just recently I have noticed that the nest app is not broadcasting live view of the doorbell. It shows a still image then goes black and reloads a new still image.  If I click on it I can view it live like it should but the home screen continues to not show live.  If I go-to google home app it works as it should but I never use that to check the camera.  Is this a common thing or am I just having a software issue or something like that?  I have force closed the app and reset my phone and camera to no avail. 

 

Any ideas?

Thank you for posting here in the community. I'm sorry that you're unable to view the live feed on the Nest App. I really appreciate the steps to troubleshoot the issue. I understand how frustrating it can be. Help is here.

 

Please confirm. Did you try the above steps that were previously posted?

Also, can you please try to confirm what type of Nest Doorbell do you have?

What is the distance between the Nest Doorbell and the router?

Are you able to screenshot the image of the issue (if possible)?

Did you try the following steps to restart your Nest Doorbell properly?

Here are the steps:

  • Unplug the Nest Doorbell from its power source, wait 30 seconds, and plug back in.
