LOST QR CODE TO NEST CAM V2

DANLORENZ13

I recently installed my nest camera V2 wired. I lost the QR code. It is currently installed in my google home app but not my nest app. When I go to my nest app and add product it asks for qr code which I don't have and it does not seem like it is anywhere on my camera.

Any help retrieving my nest v2 qr code would be great.

There should be an option to skip QR scanning and enter the key or serial number if you are able to locate that number on the camera.

Google Nest decided that the newer Google Nest cameras and doorbells released since later in 2021 would work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website.

Hi there,

Thank you too, MplsCustomer for your help.

Thank you for your feedback on this, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest cams in the Nest app like you may be used too. However, you can now use the Google Home web app to view your cameras and doorbells.

The new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support.

Best regards,

Brad
