Live feed audio uses call volume instead of media volume

When viewing the live feed of my nest outdoor camera with floodlight, the audio feed is associated to the phone call volume on my android. It is not associated to the media volume. This means that when I'm watching the live feed,  I can never turn the volume all the way off (since in-call volume can't be completely muted). Is there a way to make the Live  feed use my media volume for audio instead?

Hey there,

 

I am terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue! I would love to assist you with this issue. If you are having issues with your Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell, I would suggest that you first start by restarting it. 

 

Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.

I would suggest that you actually reach out to Support on this one as this is not an issue that we can fix for you in the forums. But you may be able to get this issue escalated with Support and they can better assist you.
