Movement alerts on Google home displays

Just installed my nest doorbell but was shocked to discover that it only sends activity alerts to my phone and iPad - but not to any of my Google home displays!!  The whole reason I bought the Google doorbell was to integrate with other Google hardware. So my nest doorbell will fully integrate with my iPhone, but won’t with Google products??

if the doorbell can send video to my home displays when someone rings the doorbell, why can’t it also do that for activity alerts?

NB. I had to select iOS and streaming issues in labels above because google forces this. This is nothing to do with iOS or streaming.

I can get notifications for motion on my smarthub.

Great. Can you tell me how you set that up? I followed all the set-up procedures and I don’t get notifications unless the doorbell rings.

It's a bit complicated. I have it so that the notification is filtered as an event so that it is added to the calender.

Hi Brad,

would really appreciate some help on this. How do I get movement notifications on my google home hubs? As things stand I only get notifications on my phone and iPad. Pretty useless if I am at home and don’t have either with me.

This is a firmware/software problem. And it is clear Google is not going to fix it.
