I had two nest doorbell cameras that worked just fine. One camera failed so I had ro replace it. Since they no longer make a 1st generation doorbell camera, I had to replace it with a 2nd generation doorbell camera. The 1st generation device was installed using the Nest program, while the second generation device could only be installed with the Google Home software. All installed OK except the 2nd generation camera would not connect to the WI-FI. I have moved doorbells around with the same results, only one of the cameras would work. I even ran a temporary set of wires through the house so that the 2nd generation door bell camera was in the same room as the router. Still no results to get them to connect. I have tried everything that has been suggested with no luck. I now feel this is probably a software issue. Has anyone else come across this problem? What did they do to fix it? Surely, my house is not the only one in the country with two door bells.
