Guys I have continuously had issues with the Nest App on my iPhone 10 logging me out while I try to use my two outdoor cameras or Nest Hello doorbell. I’ve had this  problem continuously for the month or so that I have owned this system.

What is especially obnoxious is when I do get kicked out, I have to go all the way through the log in process through my Google account again and consequently get emails telling me of a potential security breach. I have about thirty of these emails. The “problem connecting to the Nest service” message is shown every time I get kicked off.

The other super pain in the ass with this system is camera connectivity to wi fi. Who on earth thought it was a good idea to have to completely delete a camera and CLIMB A LADDER TO TAKE A PICTURE OF A QR CODE just to connect to a new WiFi network?

There are a lot of things to like about Nest but man, there are a lot of problems too. Especially for a high end Google product.

So anyway:

(1) please fix the constant log out issues with the app and

(2) make it possible to change wi fi networks or reconnect to one without deleting the camera.

Hi folks,

Thanks for getting back with us. Quick question — have you tried to use an Android phone if one is available? If yes, does the same issue occur? We are asking you to try it so we can isolate the issue. If it works fine when using an Android phone, then the issue is isolated with the iOS device. You may contact Apple Care (1-800-275-2273) as suggested above for further assistance.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
Jen
